You can get your pc specs through: sudo lshw -html > mySpecs.
@ Christopher, for time being I can not upgrade to any new development
release. I need to stick to the LTS release (i.e. 12.04). However, I
fixed this issue by install v3.5-xx-quantal kernel as mentioned above.
It is not the optimum solution.
