Dont know if someone has fix it lately or it always worked, however up-
to-date natty is aligning up icons beside unity bar, not covering im
them. But problem still persists if you use nautilus-elementary, since
nautilus-elementary isn't in main universe multiverse restricted it

Forgot to say, perhaps xfwm4 from natty would work but it might have
been pulled old xfwm4 .config... however that ^ is quick fix

i tried ubuntu 8.04.1, and here are the screenshots
firefox, open office seems to work fine (pic1), in terminal i have
"boldy" fonts - if i compare it with default Sans 10 (pic2)

here too... i had development version working, but recently it started to make

hi, just to say that if u have kubuntu 7.04 (with KDM) and install GNOME
'sudo apt-get install ubuntu-deskop' and leave KDM as default DM, after
u log into GNOME and try to reboot/shutdown from GNOME it is same... no
reboot/shutdown buttons
so:
KDM default -> no reboot/shutdown buttons from GNOME
anyone knows will it be "ready" for 7.04 ?

Just to add, it is harder to notice to people who have CRT monitors, i
just checked it on my other PC and it is less noticeable than on LCD. I
gues CRT does a bit blurry by itself... cause there is no pixels like in
LCD.

As topic says, i don't see my mounted partitions on Desktop (the
shortcuts) like in Edgy, although they are mounted (df -Th shows it) and
accessible through nautilus location "/media/hdaX".

Here is screenshot of what i am saying...
As u can see nautilus, gnome-panel and Desktop icons are very good...
but firefox OO.org, and gnome-terminal are still bad like in edgy...
ps:
i noted that sometimes when i run live cd of feisty, fonts in firefox menies
and firefox opened sites are ok,

found out that i can't choose DejaVu Condensed font for my KDE apps (btw
i use this font for my clock in KDE taskbar/tray).
It is available for GNOME but in changed way, not like it was used to

just to add, i've installed ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 and it is working!
kernel is 2.6.20-9-generic, now i have wlan0 interface which works
only "bug" is when i want to use ad-hoc mode, my connection last for
about few minutes or sometimes even less that that... tested it few
times, it repeats.

I have same problem, using feisty fawn with all upgrades, default GDM,
default KDE, and no shutdown restart etc buttons only logout.
This was issuse on dapper too, but on edgy it was ok - it had all
buttons no matter which DM was default, should be on feisty too.
btw when i use KDM as default the
