We are having Ricoh SD controller bootable system.
There was no need to include the ricoh_mmc driver in initramfs.

Karmic Alpha 4 release does not have the SDHCI drivers in the
initram. SD card supported BIOS cannot boot the ubuntu without
customizing the initrd.img . But it is possible to install the OS on
SD card without customizing the Ubuntu
For me , It looks BIOS issue . Now I dont need to remove the search
line.

I have Intel Atom Processor and I have installed the Ubuntu Karmic Kaola Alpha
4 into a SD Card. I also see this error. If I remove the search line in
grub menu command, it is working fine.
I am doing every time maunally. I dont know how to save this configuration .
