I am having the same results upon shutdown. A low frequency "dragging"
sound then, a loud "pop" upon power off of the sound card. I have the
following setup:
HP dv7-3085dx
Processor 8x Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz
Memory 6119MB (777MB used)
Operating SystemLinux Mint 9 I
I hope this info will help someone help us. I am a noob but, not an
uber-noob. I've been using Mint for about 9 months. My system will read
the card after a great length of time (approx 3 min. for 8Gb). Not to
mention, file operations are even longer.
