I must say i'm with Dotan on this one. it's very annoying to have such
inconsistency. a person who chooses to use KDE, is using it because he
thinks it's better than GNOME. he prefers KDE over GNOME means he likes
QT apps, he likes how things work, and like the KDE file chooser! but
unfortunately,
according to your xorg.conf file, your system is not using any nvidia driver.
try the following:
* alt+f2 to run open the run command dialog
* type "gksu jockey-gtk" without the quotes "
* type your password, if asked for it
* see if nvidia is listed in the list of drivers offered by the progr
