Hey, guys, can someone run dconf-editor find org -> gnome -> desktop ->
input-sources and change xkb-options to
['grp:alt_shift_toggle,grp_led:scroll'] and then switch layout by Alt-
Shift? Just to test.
This helped me.

I've found the SOLUTION! Whoa!
The steps to fix the problem, working for me:
0. Play some music, so you can hear it.
1. Open console, run alsamixer there.
2. Find channel for your PCM device (for me it was PCM or PCM Front), moving
balance on different channels
3. Open /etc/pulse/default.pa, add

Having the same issue in Ubuntu Karmic. I hope, that will be fixed with
upgrade. The way to reproduce: enter network manager editor, select
wired connection, select 'Manual' in ipv4 tab, set your params, click
'Ok' and see, that nothing changed. After re-opening of nm-connection-

twice with the same error. Possibly the reason is firefox with flash

I've installed aurora engine from http://gnome-look.org and applied some
theme, what have brown colors. But the color was from my previous
clearlooks theme (blue). Restarts of X server and reboots was helpless.
But i've found, what commenting some line in ~/.gtkrc-2.0 helps. T
I was angry beacuse of this! I'ce searching why compiz wont start and
found compiz-check script, what helped me. This bug is really stupid.
