Binary package hint: xorg
after bios update on my Lenovo S10 (netbook) backlight changing got
wrong.
ex: then i press Fn+Up - it change level by 2. (on Fn+Down - too)
when i look in /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness i see change from 0
to 2, 2 to 4...

Same on Lenovo s10:
card work fine on Windows Vista (another notebook) - win detect it normally in
already booted time.
ubuntu 9.04 see card only after insert in boot time? BUT WiFi disappear !
also ubuntu can`t see cam recorder plugged un ExpressCard (Windows = OK)
