Hello here, I'm affected by the same bug.
I do have a hard drive configured with an extended partition (msdos partition
table and DOS extended partition).
I've created a bright new GPT partition on a new installed hard drive. And this
error pops when I'm trying to install Ubuntu 18.04.3 on this
