The bug is that the driver was changed from prism54 to islsm_pci, which
is quite broken. I was able to fix this by blacklisting the islsm_pci
driver and adding my card's pci-id back to the prism54 driver. See bug
38278 for the specifics.

Adding the ID manually worked perfectly. The id 10b7:6001 needs to be
removed from the islsm_pci driver and added back to the prism54 driver
in the Ubuntu kernel.

2.6.15-18 works just fine for me. I blacklisted islsm_pci and the card
completely stopped working in -25.
In -18 it uses prism54 and all is fine. Were some of these pci id
removals done the wrong way?
My card is 10b7:6001 (3Com officeconnect 11g), and it definitely should
be in the prism54 list,
