I'm using an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I tried to suspend the computer. Then I
tried to wake it up. But colors were fully decayed after waking up. I
can use computer while these colors, I can save my programs and close.
To get colors back, I have to reboot.

This affects me too. I also found a defunct debconf-communicate in my

I too experienced the same issue. As a workaround:
1) Alt+F2 to console window and login,
2) Type unity --replace and hit Enter.
...and now the keyboard is working on the lock-screen again.

3.8.0-27-generic kernel in x64 system. Also to open, I unplugged battery
and it boot up in normal time to change dsdt file and grub config.
