I'm having this problem after every update. I have some ppa repositories turned
on. My machine is a bit older (AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with 1 Gb of RAM)

I installed UNR 9.04 on my ASUS eeePC 701, it came with Firefox 3.0.8, after
a couple of minutes Ubuntu's update manager alerted me to the availability
of 3.0.9, so I installed it, and restarted Firefox as req
I just updated 3.0.8 to 3.0.9 and am receiving this error under Jaunty.
Seems like the bug has crept in again.

Something should check when KDE sets variables and set the equivalent
for Gnome configurations in case a gnome app is installed and should use
the same defaults. But this is not really the job of this bug.

When trying to edit a category (in a task) or create a new one clicking on the
edit categories button does not respond.
According to KDE's bug tracker this has been resolved;

Problem solved.
After installing a new kernel., dpkg runs update-grub. Read the man page, as
seen there, it checks the kernel files under /boot as well as the defaults set
up in menu.lst one of them being "groot (hd0,8)" This of course in my case has
to be edited to reflect the new partitioning.

After updating the kernel using adept, the entries in grub for my kernel revert
to "root (hd0,8)" Which was correct up until I deleted a couple of partitions
(I was quad booting before with fedora and opensuse). Now this line needs to
