@Ardhard - heh, no luck there. I've got over 150G free. I've actually
dropped Evolution in favour of Thunderbird for the time being as it
doesn't appear this is going to be resolved any time soon. That said,

Is anyone looking at this?
I am also experiencing this issue with x-session-manager taking 75% or
more of the CPU, and being unable to launch applications as a result.
Only restarting X brings things back to a usable state.
Running x86_64 Intrepid Ibex 8.10, completely current.

Should this bug be closed while the error persists? "quite likely not"
doesn't indicate to me that it isn't. If it's genuinely confirmed that
the problem exists in something that is not Amarok, then a link to the

Just for some evolution usage details, I'm running with 4 pop accounts,
one spool account, and 4 'blank' accounts that allow me to use a
different sending address (domain alias).

consistent fix, and using the /etc/init.d/pulseaudio script doesn't
appear to have any effect whatsoever.

I think I can add a vote for the screensaver triggering the problem in
my instance. Based on the initial reporters experience I disabled my
own xscreensaver and haven't had a crash since.
That said, I do rather hope this gets fixed as I rather like having a
screensaver that will lock my station w
