header, that was pretty annoying.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10, and watching videos on any flash player and then
trying to go full screen will cause the screen to go nuts
Just forgot to say:
if I invoke iwconfing, install a package related to the wireless adapter (e.g.
wifi-radar, wavemon) the computer freezes instantly and the only thing I can do
is to unplug or press the power button for 4 secs.
My caps-lock key doesn't blink on freeze.
This issue started when
I'm experiencing a similar issue with Ubuntu 8.10
This weird behavior started a couple of days ago. Before everything
worked fine: I could configure my Wireless adapter with iwconfig, access
wireless networks and so on.
System information:
* Notebook vendor and model: HP-Compaq 6735s
* Operating
I'm having the same problem, it appeared after installing libgnome-gconf2-perl.
How may I provide more information about my system?

This option can be accidentally hit and when thousands of files are selected
gives a lot of troubles to recovery each file to its directory.
Imagine recoverying 2500 files ordered by artist/album/track that has been sent
to the trash and the t
Installing the new nVidia drivers using Alberto Milone's Envy resolved
the problem.

Ok, I resolved the problem.
I would like to inform that the users whose are having the problem with:
log_daemon_msg : Not found
can try this workaround:
$ sudo mv init-functions.old init-functions
I tried to search the word: log_daemon inside init-functions but there was no
match.
Then I found
I just noticed that /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket was hidden.
By the way it cannot be found by the hal.

I tried many workaround but none seemed to work.
