For me it started just now.
Sunday I upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy using the update manager and from then on
Network manager does not remember my WPA2 enterprise settings. At home there is
no problem.

After some updates (compiz I thought) I tried again and it didn't show up
anymore.
I assume it solved itself with that action.

Yesterday I filed the same bug, but as I can't find it anymore I confirm this
one, only I haven't seen the big window.
A program called geany (a general IDE) can open a terminal and has the same
problem there
I installed xterm in stead, as a work around.
