Sorry for the delay, I had extreme priority items to deal with. I upgraded my
machine to 8.04. There were problems
with packages, but after futzing around I got it. (All the package error stuff
should not be done by me on the command line,
I would think it should be done in the background.)

I started my box, hybernated and started again. The hybernation powered off
and then hung on powerup, as before. I held the power button down for a few
seconds
and then powered up

I noticed that there is no date on the bug page or any of the comments.
The actual date/time of the comments would help people to know how long
ago something was said.

On reboot it did the bios thing and then there was a one line error across the
top of the screen.
