After upgrading(?) to Natty this bug reared its nasty head and is causing me to
reboot both my laptop and desktop on a regular basis. Exactly who has lost
their mind by releasing this bug? Why has it been
I have a Dell Inspiron 15N laptop that I upgraded to Natty. After the upgrade
my wireless did not work. In fact, it did not even see the wireless. lshw
showed the wireless as "unassigned". I went wired and completely removed
KNetworkManager and installed WICD. That changed nothing. What is
I can't seem to reproduce the bug for the logs.

In Kubuntu Karmic Koala, Amarok has no way to implement "shuffle" or "repeat
play" for any playlist. Previous versions of Kubuntu did have those options.
Shall we see them again or has someone decided to get rid of them so users will
move to a different music player???
Thank you!

I have the identical problem with KNetwork Manager. Currently I only have the
MAC list to defend my router, because I can't get the laptop to connect without
transmitting the SSID.
I consider this a CRITICAL problem that was broken by upgrading to kubuntu
9.10, Karmic Koala.

a OOo Writer document it opens the link in Konqueror. This must be a
bug (MS undocumented feature) as the Jaunty Jackalope default should be
the correct one.

update from 8.10 GG to 9.04 failed on download, results in separate file. I
have an 11Mb download capability, but this ran at dialup speed. I recommend
staggered updates in the future. 1 day 1 continent, the next another and so on.

Sorry about that. I did it before I realized that it should have been
an attachment. I have subsequently done an upgrade online and that went
okay, except that it took awhile.
Once again, my apologies
