jruss,
Thanks for the clarification in your comment in bug #302485. I took a
look at your patch your provided here but I ran into a few issues I have
questions about.
The patch you wrote was intended for usb-creator 0.1.11 however I am
still experiencing the same issues with version 0.1.16. I too
Hi Jruss,
Why would it be bad to create a blocksize greater than 2GB? My usb is
formated in Fat 32, which is capable of handling volume sizes much
greater than that. Plus usb-creator doesn't complain if the format of
the drive is Fat 32 vs Fat 16.

I am trying to create a live-persistent-USB on a 4GB USB drive (FAT 32) using

I have tried and reproduced this problem loading the Jaunty daily-lives

Steps to create problem:
1) I burned a copy of Apr-20-2009's daily-live build (Jaunty) onto a CD then
booted from it.
2) I then reformated my 4GB OCZ Rally 2 Turbo USB Drive to Fat32.
3) Using a separate ISO of the Apr-20 Jaunty build, I tr
I am running Jaunty RC on a live CD in order to create a live USB. I
have downloaded a newer Jaunty ISO from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-

live build.)
I don't know if the problem is related to the same issue, but when I r
Hm, there might still be an issue regarding persistence. I used
4/19/2009's "Jaunty-desktop-i386" build but even though I asked the usb-
creator to make a persistent usb, the resulting live usb was NOT
persistent.
So the new x86 build is now confirmed to create a working live usb, but
it might not
