Hi Jruss, Why would it be bad to create a blocksize greater than 2GB? My usb is formated in Fat 32, which is capable of handling volume sizes much greater than that. Plus usb-creator doesn't complain if the format of the drive is Fat 32 vs Fat 16. -- No persistence with USB Creator in Ubuntu 8.1

Hm, there might still be an issue regarding persistence. I used 4/19/2009's "Jaunty-desktop-i386" build but even though I asked the usb- creator to make a persistent usb, the resulting live usb was NOT persistent. So the new x86 build is now confirmed to create a working live usb, but it might not
