Hello,
I tried it the way you did and the bug didn't occoured (same version
here). But if you edit an existing entry (Preferences) and add
parameters they will disappear on the next restart of liferea.

liferea. After restart it's only 'totem' without parameter.

I have the same problem with Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Notebook Pro.
Reloading the module doesn't help. I have to restart the system.

- Uninstall enigmail package
- Download xpi
- Install it over Addons in Thunderbird
