no way to configure the time delay, other than disabling the feature
"disable touchpad while typing" in the GUI, and then adding "syndaemon
-i X" to the list of startup applications, where X is the delay time in

so our systems are probably very similar. This problem showed up right
after an upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10, and then again after a fresh
install of 11.10. My touchpad freezes, and when it comes back, it starts
grabbing window
There is a fix released for this? It hasn't made its way into Ubuntu
then. Klugy hacks are still required to suspend on most modern laptops.

I confirm the behavior reported in this bug with the Nautilus package
3.2.1 from oneiric-proposed. Specifically, pressing backspace does not
delete the last character from the search string as expected, but
instead navigates backward to the parent directory, and the search box
is not quickly cleare
I've found that a workaround for this bug is to open a terminal or press
the Print Screen key. After closing the terminal or screenshot dialog,
KDevelop again accepts input. Alt-tabbing to another window and
returning to KDevelop does not do the same trick, however.
