This does not look like a kile bug. Although I can't say where the error
lies. I have never experienced this behaviour.

Why? This is the default katepart shortcut for codecompletion. Which works much
better in 2.1beta1 than in 2.0.81.

Does it always happen or only in directories with uncommon permissions?
If you know how to use a compiler you might try to use kile 2.1 beta1 from
kile.sf.net and see if it fixes the problem.
Although the backtrace is good I don't see anything obvious offending in the
code.

Can you attach a project which shows this bug?

The shortcuts problem should be resolved upstream.
@Andreas: Maybe you can upload kile 2.1beta1? It is better than the svn
snapshot provided by ubuntu at the moment.

The current version of kile and the version of okular from kde 4.3 beta2 can
work together using forwardDVI.
We are currently exploring the possibility to extend this to ForwardPDF also :)

Hi,
this is known because the upgrade path for the tools is not available at the
moment.
A work around is to restore the tools with "restore default tools" in
configure->kile->tools.

Experienced the same here on a upgrade from feisty to gutsy.
I had to delete vga=0x317 from my menu.lst and booting without any vga=*
option.
Now my ttys are visible again, but I'd like to have them back in 1
I second these findings for xubuntu gutsy tribe 5.
I'm running a Intel 945 chipset with the 'intel' driver.
libgl1-mesa-dri has not been installed in a fresh installation. An entry in
xorg.0.log led me to the solution.
I'd suggest to include libgl1-mesa-dri in the default setup.

Having set up a HP Printer in xubuntu 6.06.1 (PPC), most Programms were able to
print using cups.
But trying to print from within gqview, it said 'SIGPIPE: Error printing'
Console output led me to the error: There was no default printer set.

Now I have the same behaviour on a notebook that did not show that issue
until todays update of... (I don't know, it was to much to narrow it
down to a certain package, but I think today was no kdm update in apt.
Might be the a kernel issue?)

Pushing the eject button on my DVD-Burner shows:

When using the desktop icon to eject the CD, everything works.
When entering a CD, konqueror opens an empty window, refreshing it shows
