When using -gl option, mplayer will crash on exit, and video seems tp lag and
jump forward.
Before the last fglrx update there was no jumping, but there was some diagonal
shearing.
The smplayer frontend aslo fails to advance its playlist.

Much like earlier install problem, the graphical version doesn't even remove
the package.
The command

does remove it.
Oddly, the firmware remains in use...
It DOES install with the graphical version, though.
These problems could be exclusive to the KDE version.

some of my MP3s needed to be tagged with 2.4 apparently, and 1.X doesn't do it
anyway. I think that the last version hid the fact that 1.X wasn't saving the
unicode characters until you opened them again, or my memory is stupid.

terminal does not display the previous 2 characters when using the
