Confirmed on Kubuntu Feisty 20070417, AMD64 version. Same behavior that
others have described. In my case the correct BusID is "PCI:0:5:0" but
nvidia-glx-config changed it to "PCI:1:5:0" and broke X. I had to fix
it by hand.

Running nvidia-glx-config enable breaks X.

It worked for me with mostly minor problems. Had the following issues:
Synaptics touchpad virtual scrolling does not work correctly
Clock configuration was changed
Panel icons placed in center of bottom toolbar (see pic)

Public bug reported:
Insert DVD or CD, choose "Open in New Window", drive is mounted at
/media/cdrom, Konqueror opens but contents of disc do not display
until Reload button is clicked. Problem does not occur on the first
disc insertion after bootup. Eject and reinsert disc, and problem
occurs.
I can confirm this also, on Kubuntu Edgy RC i386.
Add new task, click Apply -> get dialog box "Resource Selection -
Kontact" with 2 choices, both say "Default KOrganizer resource". Task
gets added twice. Same thing happens with new Calendar entry.
Problem only occurs on my Edgy i386 installation
This bug is still present in Kubuntu Edgy RC1. Perhaps we could use a
simpler .xcf file that Krita can display correctly, or use Krita's
native format .kra .

I found that removing 'quiet' and 'splash' from the boot options fixes
it. Could it be related to #56587...
