copy-pasting files using shortcut keys is broken (ctrl-c, ctrl-v).
what happens:
1) select a file, press ctrl-c. the file copies just fine... but
2) press ctrl-v, file does not copy itself anywhere, but just pastes the file
path as search string

Window decorations sometimes "die" on certain applications (while other
open apps continue to work), I cannot click on the window decoration or
buttons, clicks just go straight through to the desktop.

Uhm, thanks for the tips but I think I'll just skip linux for now then,
too much work for now to reinstall everything :p
However, whether or not the reason for crashing is "incorrect" partition
table or not, gparted should never crash and leaving user wondering why
the installer doesn't proceed. F
