This is a Dell Latitude D810, with an ATI Mobility Radeon X300. Ubuntu
version is Edgy Knot 3. I already told you in the bug report, that the
machine freezes because only power off helps.

Pressing the battery info hotkey (Fn+F3) the information appears on the
lower right of the screen, but after closing it, I can't reveal it again
with the Fn+F3 hotkey. So it works only once/every restart.
