Thank you for the reply. Sadly, my laptop currently runs fedora and I
can't test new ubuntu kernel. The exact same problem does still exist
with kernel 6.13.5 on fedora though, hope this info will help.

does not work. This is a duplicate of Bug #2089931 but reproduced with a
supported kernel version. In addition to kernel 6.11.0-13, this bug also

OEM preload image on BRCO-PV-SKU16-2_202312-33266, it will install
nvidia-driver-550 but default to Wayland. Install gdm3

windowing system will change to X
ODM helped to install fwupd 1.9.27-0ubuntu1~24.10.1 on Oracular and
1.9.27-0ubuntu1~24.04.1 on Noble. And both Oracular and Noble can
upgrade scalar firmware successfully.

After installing backport-iwlwifi-dkms on ubuntu 25.04 on kernel 12.1
based on Bug #2085547, the wifi is working.
However, rfkill still shows wifi as soft blocked and the gui says wifi
is disabled. This might be a driver issue specifically for my asus

Enable udev debug by adding udev.log-priority=debug to kernel parameter.
I notice that the in 61-gdm3.rules, the condition for

openssl-server is 1:9.6p1-3ubuntu13.4.
If I have `Compression yes` in my ~/.ssh/config, I will fail to login my
riscv box:
