After a clean install, ubuntu 10.04 craches often on different moments
whitout any trigger... I'm sending you this through ubuntu 9.10 because
working with the unpredictibble crashes on 10.04 was a disaster!!! Is

Installed mplayer, mozilla-mplayer, gstreamer plugins, w64codec, and mplayer
always shut's off with faultcode 127...

Whith "0: HDA Nvidia (alsa)" no button +20 db for boosting mic. In Gutsy
the button was present.
Even with all registers open I have to shout into the mic. to make me loud and
clear.
Hopefully there is an easy fix for this.
