Till- Still having a problem with this. The auto updates will not
launch and I have several program updates that are on hold.
Additionally, I have tried to install several pieces of software from
the library and the authentication link does not launch.

setting unique to Ubuntu? or I am making a mistake.

Despite following ubuntu documentation I am unable to get bind9 to work
as a caching server on on anything but the local interface. So host
, nslookup only work for the server itself from the command line,
clients cannot get dns answers, they time out. netstat -an shows
