When running the command:
xchat-gnome --existing --url=irc://irc.something.net/channel
The Connect dialog showing available servers appears. This seems
counter intuitive since the given url is loaded in the background.

I use gvim by launching it from the terminal, so that I can have gvim
use the current directory and also be able to issue commands in the
project I'm working on.
I use :vsplit and :tabnew, which cause these errors.
Again, not critical, but a bit annoying since my console is filled with
these mess
I have the same problem with a Radeon RV250 (Mobility FireGL 9000). The
work around seems to work for me, but I get the tearing.
