Hi, same here with nfs4 mounts on a natty installed today.
Curiously, the nfs3 mounts are fine. Could that be related with rcp.idmapd,
which has to run before nfs4 can mount successfully ?

Sebastian: right, I was able to confirm that the update 2.6.32-29 -> 2.6.32-30
causes the problem.
I opened #735294 for that.

Title:
Regression: Keyboard repeat stops after resuming from suspend after
2.6.32-30 upgrade
--

Public bug reported:
Hi,
after resuming from suspend, keyboard repeat is not working anymore in
X11/gnome,
i.e. I see only a single character when keeping a key pressed for a long time.
System is a Lenovo T400.
The problem occurred after dist-upgrading a few days ago, which pulled in
the 2.6.
Hi,
It seems that the problem re-appeared with a very recent update in 10.04.2,
with gnome-settings-daemon 2.30.1-0ubuntu1.1
My keyboard looses the keyboard repeat after waking up from suspend.

Hi,
I am on lucid, and have the same problem with -ubuntu3.1, but already -ubuntu3
is working,
so it's definitely something brought into only by the very last update.

Hi,
For quite a while we experienced that execd (from Debian/Ubuntu packages)
was not starting on our Ubuntu 10.04 (6.2u4) nor 11.04 (6.2u5) during bootup.
Starting them manually was no problem.
Many months later I figured that the /etc/init.d/gridengine-exec

Hi,
no, it is not about the files which are 0bytes in your

where something went terribly wrong,

Hi,
I tried an identical drive (they were bought on the same day)
and the second one works fine.
On the other hand, my drive which fails in karmic
works fine on a lucid laptop and also there under Windows.
So in my case it seems to be a hardware problem

Hi again,
We're running lucid since a few month,
and with nscd 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.2
we have not been bitten by this anymore.

Hi,
I am unsure whether this is fixed in xvfb 2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7.2,
because I am experiencing the symptoms that xvfb fails to start

Um, but this bug report was on 2.6.31-21.59 back when
it was in -proposed.
It has entered -updates three days ago. Was that a SRU then ?
Should we have made the poweroff issue a blocker
for the SRU, because it is clearly a regression ?

unable to power off with kernel 2.6.
Jeremy, are you sure that's "fixed" ?
Both the bug title and karmic kernel are 2.6.31,
the "problem is gone" was after upgrading the full distribution,
including a new kernel 2.6.32 version.
People who continue to use karmic are left in the cold,
especially if security fixes roll in.

Binary package hint: mingw32-runtime
Hi,
The package mingw32-runtime is missing the file
/usr/amd64-mingw32msvc/include/getopt.h
which is needed for amd64 compiles. For 32bit compiles it exists
already in mingw32-runtime at /usr/i586-mingw32msvc/include/getopt.h
