I tried to install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, which I just downloaded from the original
website, fails to install in German.
It should be installed as a virtual machine in Virtual Box on a Windows 7
machine with 16GB of RAM and Core i7 CPU.

I assume that the running docvert was causing the problem. But even
after I tried to stop it with '/etc/init.d/docvert-converter stop' and
killing the processes owned by user docvert I kept receiving the errors.

Now I restored to the original .mozilla-directory and saw that the
extensions directory was owned by root with group root.
I did a chown to my user and all seems to be ok up tu now.

Thanks for the hint.
After I moved .mozilla to .mozilla.sav and started firefox the history
worked as usual.
I'm wondering what is the cause for this.

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
After updating Xubuntu to the newest release the new version of Firefox 3 was
installed.
In Firefox it is now not possible to mave back in history.
The buttons are displayed but are grey and not selectable.
