I was just deleting some files on nautilus when Xorg crashed and I was
thrown to a command line asking me for my login info. After entering my
password and hitting the enter key, I was presented with the login
screen, so I entered my password again, and then I was in, but it was a
new session.

Switched to "Main Server", installed the updates, restarted the system
and problem fixed.
