Usually CPU fan works as expected but in some situations stops working
causing high temperatures and drastically reduces system performance.
I haven't found a pattern on this but I think it happens on the
following sequence:
1 - Suspend the computer while connected to power
I have the same issue on toshiba satellite p50-b-10v. Sometimes the fan
doesn't work, but if I reboot it starts to work normally.
I haven't found a pattern yet but I think it's related with suspending
computer and alternate between power cable / battery.

I installed the ATI driver, then boot the computer began with black
screen. I uninstalled fglrx (sudo apt-get remove fglrx) and turn another
time, but the computer does this "error fglrx".

Horizontal lines crossing the screen. I notice waves on screen (as if
the refresh rate is too low). This is more noticeable on dark colors
like gray and also on transparencies (like the dash).

I have this exact problem with logitech usb headset in Ubuntu 12.04
64bit.
This is a serious problem for me as this completely locks my laptop and
I can't even shut it down: the power button does not work (even holding
it) and my samsung chronos does not allow to remove the battery.
