The problem was fixed in version 0.3.27 (see GitHub issue referenced in
my previous message). So affected versions are 0.3.24 through 0.3.26. My
suggestion would be to bump the version of the Ubuntu package right away
if that doesn't cause any other known problems!

I just tried it with openblas built from source rather than the Ubuntu package.
Here's some results for different OpenBLAS versions:
* 0.3.20 (version in Ubuntu 22.04, where my program used to work): works
* 0.3.23: works
* 0.3.24: fails
* 0.3.26 (version in Ubuntu 24.04): fails

Further observation: even though it works with Intel -O3 + MKL, it fails
with Intel -O3 and my Ubuntu openblas installation.
