distribution buglists, asking them to target the CVS repository instead
of the latest version.

I also experienced this bug, but also think it may simply be due to
hardware specs. On my machine, lowering the screen resolution before
starting the record eliminates the problem (and, in addition, it saves
me having to transcode before uploading the file somewhere).

highlighting" itself, so that subsequent keypresses erase what I have

This seems to be strictly an issue with ishares.com. If you use the
firefox User Agent Switcher add-on:

and pretend to be Internet Explorer, then the site renders fine. So
evidently, ishares.com have some kind of browser-sniffing code in their
Using Lucid beta1, I find that this occurs even if I explicitly divert
the display *back* to the LCD before suspending.

3. Divert display back to LCD
4. Suspend
5. Disconnect external monitor

The problem continues to persist in Feisty. The laptop runs hot --
almost too hot to use in one's lap, on occasion -- and the battery
drains quickly. Note that mine is a core solo (I bought it days before
the switch ...), and so the problem is not restricted to core duo
processors.
It's possible
Okay, "me too!" I've been pulling my hair out trying to get sound
working using external 0.19 packages on dapper. It would be nice to
know the packages I was using were supported in any way at all. I'd be
happy to help with testing, too.
