gcdmaster was removed from the Ubuntu Studio seeds because it was not available
in the oneiric repositories.
Ubuntu Studio desires gcdmaster's inclusion.

ubuntu studio does not wish to explicitly or implicitly include gnome-
bluetooth as we really aren't a pure "desktop" distribution and could
have an adverse impact on audio recordings due to either increased
latency or xruns.

Right. Realized I couldn't just attach the /var/log/install/syslog
file.
However, read it as root and copied the text. Saved this file as me
(non-root) as attached now to the bug report :)

During the installation of Ubuntu Studio it fails during the "Installing
Software" phase. This is when the ubuntustudio-video metapackage is
selected. After the failure I went back to the menu and restarted at
the failing command, I uns
I have had almost consistent kernel panics during boot, probably four
out of five boots results in kernel panic.
It was difficult trying to ascertain when the panic occurred because
from the visual cues. Sometimes it would result in text on the screen
and sometimes not, but always with a hard loc
