"Shiki-Color" from the repo, then switch to that. The buttons will

Are there manual workarounds for this? Full disk encryption is too
clunky for corporate use and the lack of encrypted home folders in an
Active Directory environment means missing a huge advantage an Ubuntu
install would have over a Windows device.

1. Use a wired connection
2. Avoid Samba/CIFS shares and configure your server for NFS instead
3. Use AutoFS to create your network shares.

got the following (rubbish) workaround to disable bluetooth :

Recent kernel update (Tuesday 11th Oct 2010) has made a slight
improvement. I now get one suspend/resume. All subsequent attempts to
suspend thereafter fail with identical symptoms to this initial bug
report. If anyone can help troubleshoot this, I'd greatly appreciated
it.

Toshiba U400 won
I can't get a working suspend anymore - literally just once it worked,
now it just hangs again, regardless of Bluetooth. If anyone can help
troubleshoot the problem, that would be great. In the meantime, I
attach the /var/log/pm-suspend.log I took of a "hung" connection. It
