In fact "dpkg -P" removes installed files and configuration files and for this
reason I suggest to use by console:
sudo dpkg -P acroread-debian-files acroread acroread-escript
acroread-dictionary-de acroread-l10n-de
before doing:
sudo apt-get install acroread

I have understand that the problem regards the Reiser File System...
I have tested my laptop and every files (that make problem) are located in this
file system!
When Amule try to download a file, the computer freezes too, because the temp
directoy is on the same reiserfs
