This is fixed in the kernel 3.16 rc4 you linked. I have added the tag

I have an HP h009tux2 laptop. It has synaptic hid touchpad. The
touchscreen is working as a mouse (no multitouch). The touchpad doesn't

I am on Ubuntu 12.04. Its a dell lattitude 6420 laptop. I am noticing
frequent LAN disconnections. Just before every disconnection there is a
dell_wmi error as shown below.

Looks like its not just Unity 2D but 3D as well. Although in Unity 3D it
does fall to sane amounts for some time before going insane again. I
think a recent update has caused it. But I am clueless as to what I
should be looking for. If you want additional info, tell me what I
should report.

I am using Ubuntu 12.04. Compiz doesn't behave nicely with citrix
applications so I moved to Unity 2D. I am noticing that in ubuntu 3D I
had 4 hours of battery backup left and in Unity 2D it dropped to 1 hr 20
min !!! I waited for the backup time to stabilize as I thought

are providing proxy configuration url in system settings > Network, its
not taking those settings. It only works when you set a single
server:port proxy and apply it system wide. PAC settings should also
work.
