no, i did not do any new installations for many weeks now, not the least
anti-virus installation.
oh, i did install postgres-xl from source; but that is still there when i
retried the update which worked the second time. however, the system did
not boot normally after i restarted (for fear that li
i later ran package manager & applied the update, it worked fine with
out any issues. do not know what caused this failure in the first
attempt though
