[Bug 1918886] [NEW] after upgrade to ubuntu 14.04, system not restarting and touchpad not working

Public bug reported: after upgrade to ubuntu 14.04 from ubuntu 12.04, the system is not restarting, however after quickly pressing esc i can run the system on F11 (hp recovery) mode , but in that the touchpad is not working ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: linux-image-3.13.0-
