Same for me, I just copy my old wubildr* files and it worked like a
charm.
Would it be possible to have a special grub package for wubi install
(wubi-grub) that do not always break wubi installation?

Boot again today, it doesn't work. I rebooted with the wifi hardware
switch set to off, waited to boot complete and once on the login page,
switch on the wifi. It works correctly.

Today I booted my pc with 2.6.31-17 kernel. I didn't make any updates. I
plug the ethernet cable. Then, "just to try", activate the wifi card
with the hardware switch on the laptop. And the wifi works ! I make some
updates but I didn't reboot yet. I'll see if the wifi still works.

After the upgrade to linux 2.6.31-17 that come with other package
update, I rebooted the PC (Dell Latitude E6400) and the wifi was not
recognized any more. The ifconfig command show no wlan0 interface.

Well, I looked at the release note of ntfs-3g. Junction points support
has been introduced in last version, which is not avalailable yet in
Ubuntu. So the problem will be fixed when integrated.
