Hi Bkintegration, thank you for your time.
I've tried to install cnijfilter-common_3.00-1_i386.modfied.deb package and it
works now.
I didn't have any trouble with configuring the printer after that.
Thank you very much.

I reported a problem to Canon but honestly I don't believe they'll react.
Can you figure out any workaround?

I've tested your script on 64bit 11.04 box and it doesn't work. You just
replaced 2.80 commons with 3.00 one.
I got the same error like in the defect I described:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cup
And in my opinion single users won't be listen by canon because formally MP620
isn't supported on linux platform.
It would be better if such problem was reported to Canon by Ubuntu officially.

I couldn't recreate it with Ubuntu 11.04 beta 2.
Beta 1 size I've downloaded had about 170 MB so I hope think the build might be
corrupted.

I've noticed the same problem on my box (I also have Nvidia graphic card with
binary drivers).
I think that Adobe is resposible for this situation. It doesn't supply 64-bit
10.2 flash plugin for linux platform.
I've tested the solution with nspluginwrapper and 32-bit flash plugin but I see

To verify that you don't need PIXMA printer. Just try to install
cnijfilter-common_2.80-1_i386.deb on package from
http://support-au.canon.com.au/contents/AU/EN/0100083403.html
on Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit.

I have a Canon PIXMA MP620 printer/scanner (with ethernet/wifi).
The only one way I know to make it works is to install Canon binary drivers
(for MP610 model).
