Binary package hint: modemmanager
Usually, is better to turn off usb modems before removing them. That's
why modemmanager should support this feature, which should be supported
also by knetworkmanager and nm-applet, giving end users an easy way of
safely removing their device

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: language-pack-kde-es-base
Some strings on the spanish castilian localization of k3b seems to be
wrongly encoded with iso8859-1, when they should be in utf-8.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04
Package: language-pack-kde-es-base 1:10.04+20100422
I had the same problem with lucid. Shouldn't plymouth and lvm2 also
depends on initramfs-tools? This is the output of the script:
bcmwl-kernel-source
fuse-utils
lvm2
plymouth-theme-fade-in
plymouth-theme-kubuntu-logo

Bug's still there in Lucid Alpha 3. The package in debian testing,

Here goes the complete log of a crash. You're right that it may not be
related to phonon. I saw a pair of crashes in which that warning wasn't
displayed. Besides, I guess mplayer must be the one managing sound...

Well, I think this is going to be useful. The crash happened a lot with
the svn version. Seems to be something related to phonon. Those are some
relevant parts of the logs:
Debug: MplayerVersion::isMplayerAtLeast: no parsed version, using user supplied
version
Debug: MplayerVersion::isMplayerAtLe
I choose rc3 or newer, which is the one in karmic (and I think it should
be preselected on the dialog on this package; don't rely too much in
newbies). But I've seen the crash choosing all three of them.

Yes, it seems so. But why ubuntu karmik 64bits installs a 32bits
library? That sounds like a bug to me...
