Not sure what to say except that Vbox worked fine until I did a recent
update and then there seems to be issues with drivers, the kernels were
previously matched but I had no indication that it had been changed.

I thought this would be carried over. Rhythmbox does not reconise my
legitimately bought cd and reports i386 arch. when using i6 despite it being
loaded automatically, surely 32 bit usually works on 64 bit?
