By persistent do you mean being able to save data back to the USB Drive
once you have booted from it? If so, I think this is possible as I
recall that option in UNetBootin but have not tested it as I was just
creating a bootable USB drive for the purpose of installation.

As a work around, I used the UNetBootin
(http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/) application to create a bootable
USB Drive and it worked perfectly.

Not to add confusion, but it looks like the version of Firefox that
ships with openSUSE 11.0 KDE4 also has the same problem

I would say that it is caused by Ubufox. Downloading the version of
Firefox 3 for Linux from Mozilla does not have this problem.

I just wanted to confirm that I am experiencing this problem. Although,
it is possible to work around this issue by using the stand alone
version of prism from the repository, this is sub-optimal since it
forces the user to use an older version of the app.

I would be fine with just closing this bug. Like you said, it won't
solve compilation problems in Python as the code being pasted in uses
different spacing than my own code anyways so we are still left with a
mix.

Marcel, what do you think? This is only a serious problem with Python
development since indentation matters. I have not used any other editors
for writing Python so I'm not sure what the norm is.
