I sincerely apologize for taking your time! There was no bug. I had
accidentally
switched off the wireless switch on the front of my laptop when I was putting
in
a memory card.

I upgraded to feisty fawn online and the problems started. Feisty fawn
did not allow me to connect to the internet. I re-installed edgy eft
from CD erasing the 200 GB hard drive (clean install). The hard drive
since purchased in February has been used exclusively for Linux. I
