Well it is in fact a software problem and the Turtle beach card does work
with xp. The question is someone willing to write the sound driver software
for this card which is several years old? If you want it to work correctly
soon you may have to change out the card until such time as compatiable
I did find the solution awhile back. The computer had an old Turtle Beach
sound card installed that was causing the problem.
Changed it out to a Sound Blaster (Fairly old, don't know the model) It has
worked great from that point on.

Can't get anything to record from Mic. I do get a sound through my
