For me this happened after upgrade from 15.04 to 15.10.
Adding suggested fix to NetworkManager.conf solved the issue.

Huge thanks to the person that came up with this:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure nvidia-331
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure nvidia-331-uvm
fixed all issues for me. I guess reinstalling the module is also doing
this behind the scenes and that's why that also works.

Public bug reported:
In Lucid my iphone worked flawlessly as a modem over bluetooth. After
upgrade it does not seem to be able to connect succesfully.
Attaching the few things that looked relevant in the syslog:
Oct 12 07:50:39 LTSE0247 kernel: [ 545.685558] input: 90:84:0D:48:1E:3B as
/device
The same thing started happening to me after the upgrade containing
kernel 2.6.32. Before that it worked as before.

Followup:
Clearing out /usr/share/emacs and /usr/share/emacs21 and then reinstalling
dictionaries-common and then emacs solved the problem for me.
Seems some stale version of some package that php-mode depended on was
interfering.
