(Yes, that's debian, but I think it's likely that this change will come to
ubuntu sooner or later, please read on.)
In version 4.0-2, the debian package of apt-btrfs-snapshot, moved the
btrfs binary
Works fine on my two machines running karmic 64bit :)

If you don't want a whole new kernel package, I recently made a DKMS
package for the eeepc-laptop module (attached). I am not very familiar
with DKMS though, so I can't promise that it will always work. But it
works for me, so far...

Hi! I just made a small tarball (attached) as a "quick and dirty fix"
while we are waiting for the devs to include the patch. It just
recompiles the patched eeepc-laptop module against the current kernel
symbols. I just tested it on my Eee901 and seems to work.
