debian Wheezy and Jessie.

Subclipse will not work, it displays a dialog saying "Subversion native
library not available" and "Error: Incompatible JavaHL library loaded.
Subversion 1.7.x required."
The only subversion version available in Ubuntu 14.04 is 1.8.8
(r1568071) (on my system)

The problem exist because the folder /var/log/postgresql does not exist.
I cannot find out if it didn't exist with the previous postgresql
version or if it was removed by the install script, but after a apt
upgrade I had to create the directory manually to install the package.

Same thing for me, but Swedish instead of Italian.
I installed Ubuntu using English as setting. Then another user of the
computer needed Swedish, so I installed that too in gnome-language, but
kept the top two settings ("for my menus..." and "For everyone at
startup...") as English (United kingdom
